Help Message Believers in Jamaica Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa
Hurricane Melissa has swept through Jamaica with heartbreaking force—tearing apart homes, schools, hospitals, businesses, and churches. Among those deeply affected are many of our brothers and sisters in the Message.
Several congregations have lost their roofs, sound equipment, and furniture. Many believers are now without shelter, their homes heavily damaged or destroyed. In the western and southern parishes, the storm wiped out entire harvests, leaving families with no food or source of income. Countless businesses remain closed because of flooding and structural collapse, leaving fathers and mothers without work.
And yet, even in the midst of so much loss, we thank God that lives have been spared. Where there is life—there is still hope.
Our Purpose
This GoFundMe has one simple goal: to bring immediate relief to those suffering—food, clean water, and basic necessities for the believers and their families who have lost so much. Communication is still limited across parts of the island, but as we receive updates, photos, and reports, we will share them so you can see how your kindness is making a difference.
To everyone who prays, gives, or simply stands with us—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your love, compassion, and faith remind our Jamaican brothers and sisters that they are not forgotten.
2 Corinthians 9:7 – “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
In coordination with Pastor Keith Reid (Jamaica), ensuring every gift reaches those who need it most.
